My first attempt at Half-noon Nails!!

Okay, I am the first one to say I can't paint my nails without smudging them if my life depended on it. So, when I sat in my chair and decided to do Half-moon nails on my own, I knew I was in for a very long, grueling challenge. And, I was right. Here is the final product! (I think I did pretty well actually! :P )

PS. Happy Valentines Day! I hope everyone, single or not, had a great day! <3

A twist on Minnie Mouse

*Photos taken by my cousin Lilia*

(Blazer/Kimono- Forever 21. Peter Pan Top- H&M, Lock&Key Skirt- H&M. Ear Cuff- Etsy, Bow Headband- Forever 21, Stack & Pyramid Rings- UO, Other Ring- Thrifted, Flats- Cotton On.)

I know, I know, FINALLY I posted one of my OOTD!! Haha. I finally found the time and kinda, sorta blackmailed asked my cousin to take a picture of my outfit. Today I'm off to do some well deserved Retail Therapy. I'm going to my local consignment store (where I purchased my Kate Spade purse), Apple Mint,  along with some other stores. As you may notice, I am a certified shopaholic. This outfit just seems like the perfect fit for my activities today! Anyways, recently I purchased this bright pink blazer/kimono from Forever 21 and I can't stop wearing it! Its casual and dressy at the same time. so basically, in my eyes, it's perfect.

New Thrift Item & Etsy love...First post of 2012!!!

(Kate Spade Purse - Thrifted for $60.00)

Recently, I went to a local consignment store in which I was introduced to by my sister's mother-in-law. Let's just say I fell in love. There were countless unique items that I wanted to purchase but I decided to make an investment in purchasing this Kate Spade purse. When I saw the price I was in legitimate shock not only because of it's relatively new condition but because I have always wanted to own one of these bags. Even though the price of the bag is still a little pricey, I'm glad I made the purchase because I know for years to come this will be my go-to bag!

(Ear Cuff - Etsy for 12.50 *With Shipping*)

First off, I want to apologize for the horrible quality of these pictures; I took them on my webcam rather than my Nikon. Anyways, I finally received the ear cuff my sister ordered for me in the mail today!! I'm obsessed with it and can't wait to use it in one of my OOTD...

DIY: Color Block/ Splatter Paint back pockets

Before Christmas I decided to paint the back pockets of my acid wash shorts to give them a little oomph.

 What You Need:

- Acrylic/Fabric Paint of your choice (I chose blue)
- White Paint to make the color a lighter/brighter color (Optional)
- Paint Brush
-Cup of water
-Extra cups to put paint in
-Masking Tape (I used regular tape because I ran out of masking tape)
- Toothpicks to mix the paint
First, I taped the sides of my back pockets. I then painted at least 2 coats of paint to the first back pocket and then moved onto the next.
            Not yet finish!
I then hung it up to dry, and splatter painted it to give it a bigger effect. (If you're wondering what it's hanging on, that's my inspiration board!)
And, here's the final product! Hope you like it..
