DIY: Framed Flowers!!!

In my recent post. Blossoms, I stated how I wanted to frame the flowers in the picture. So, I got around to doing it and here is the end result!!
Materials needed include:
-Nails (not pictured)
-Sheets of white computer paper
-Frames (amount depends on you)
-Freshly picked flowers
Using the back of the frame as a guide, cut the white sheet of paper to the precise dimensions of the frame.
Place the flowers in your desired position onto the flat white canvas.
Press down the frame onto the flowers. Repeat with other flowers.

Then, just hammar in some nails in your wall (you may want to use an anchor depending on what type of wall you have along with the weight of your frame)

And, Voila! The final product! I am pleasantly pleased with how this little project came out and hope you all share the same experience I had...Hammering a wall does relieve some pent-up anger! Lets just say it is defiantly a stress reliever!

Since I have been so busy lately with school I haven't been able to take pictures of my recent outfits, so here is one of my past "photoshoots" (more like an adventures) that shows my outfit!! I hope you like it..

Photos by me and Becca (Blonde pictured )

(Forever 21 shorts, H&M Crop Tie shirt, Thrifted Gladiator sandals, and a Thrifted panda bear beanie)

Occasionally, my best friend Becca and I go on little adventures where we take ridiculous photos of ourselves. This time we decided to go to a nearby park which, by our surprise, was bigger than we imagined. Before we left, I spotted this panda bear beanie in the depths of Becca's closet and instantly gravitated to it. I guess it was because of the pom-poms attached to it or even because I'm obsessed with panda bears that I liked it so much...either way I almost stole it from Becca, but in the last minute i decided to give it back. I regret that decision.

A sneak peak into my closet!!!

Okay, so recently I have cleaned out my closet and got rid of (and when I say "rid of" I really mean gave to the Salvation Army/Clothes for Haiti) my old clothes that I never wear anymore. Which, in my case, felt like I was parting with my biological child rather than a pair of jeans or even the simplest t-shirt. I swear I get attached to quickly to my clothing. Anyways, I decided to give a look into my closet that I go into every day! And trust me it isn't usually this clean...I definitely tidied up for you guys!

(The cutest bracelet holder my mom bought for me. I think I only love it because it's zebra..)
(If you saw the insides of my draws, you would be mortified. They are filled with clothes that I didn't even want to attempt to photograph! Next time though!)
(My reject jewelry box that I keep all the broken jewelry I just can't get rid of.)
(I like to keep my heels in their original boxes for some odd reason.)

Okay, so it may not be an "emergency" but to me it is!! I am in dire need of a halfway ring and can't find one anywhere!! I know i can just order really small rings but wherever I go to look the smallest sizes are 6's, which is my actual ring size...
For anyone who doesn't know, this is what they look like..

*Photos from google images...I do not own these photos*

If anyone knows where I can find ones like these, and at a really good price, please comment below and let me know!! I would absolutely love you forever! Thank you so much.

(Shirt- H&M, Suede High Wasted Shorts- Forever 21, Shoes- Jessica Simpson "Dany", Skull Bracelet- Thrifted, Bead Necklace- Forever 21, and Over-sized Ring- H&M)

This day was one of the best days, in my opinion, of South Florida weather. The skies were clear, the sun was out, and the winds were blowing at the perfect rate. My ideal day. So, I decided to do a mini photo shoot showcasing my new favorite suede shorts, along with my Danys I purchased way-back-when. This shoot is actually located in my backyard. The tree in the last photo is my absolute favorite tree my family grows. The pink blossoms are so beautiful...maybe I'll pick a few off and frame them in my room. I smell another idea for a D.I.Y.? I think so..

I know, I know, FINALLY I posted one of my OOTD!! Haha. I finally found the time and kinda, sorta blackmailed asked my cousin to take a picture of my outfit. Today I'm off to do some well deserved Retail Therapy. I'm going to my local consignment store (where I purchased my Kate Spade purse), Apple Mint,  along with some other stores. As you may notice, I am a certified shopaholic. This outfit just seems like the perfect fit for my activities today! Anyways, recently I purchased this bright pink blazer/kimono from Forever 21 and I can't stop wearing it! Its casual and dressy at the same time. so basically, in my eyes, it's perfect.

I WILL post an OOTD soon...hopefully.
I have tons of family over and it's been increasingly impossible for me to have the time to take snapshots of my outfits! Just be on the lookout!

New Thrift Item & Etsy love...First post of 2012!!!

(Kate Spade Purse - Thrifted for $60.00)

Recently, I went to a local consignment store in which I was introduced to by my sister's mother-in-law. Let's just say I fell in love. There were countless unique items that I wanted to purchase but I decided to make an investment in purchasing this Kate Spade purse. When I saw the price I was in legitimate shock not only because of it's relatively new condition but because I have always wanted to own one of these bags. Even though the price of the bag is still a little pricey, I'm glad I made the purchase because I know for years to come this will be my go-to bag!

(Ear Cuff - Etsy for 12.50 *With Shipping*)

First off, I want to apologize for the horrible quality of these pictures; I took them on my webcam rather than my Nikon. Anyways, I finally received the ear cuff my sister ordered for me in the mail today!! I'm obsessed with it and can't wait to use it in one of my OOTD...
